A transcription of three of the five Animaux de Personne from Bizarre Bestaire : Le Lièvre Variable, Le Dugong, Le Mouton à Grosses Fesses, resulting in Saisons, Lagune, Tango.
Saisons is built as a promenade with a clear couplet-refrain structure repeated four times, as the text refers to the four seasons. The variability of the hare is translated by the constant changes of meters and harmonic horizons.
LAGUNE is a slow meditation about water. Quartal harmonies.
TANGO, a rambunctious and humorous tango, tells the adventures of an unhappy sheep.
